Graveside services for Mr. Thomas Wayne Whitworth, age 81, are scheduled for 3 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mr. Whitworth passed away late Wednesday in Jackson. He was born June 20, 1939 in Rutherford, Tennessee to the late Clyde “Bill” Whitworth and Nancy Gammons Whitworth. He was retired from NeoProducts where he worked in Tool & Die. He was a member of Rock Hill Church. Mr. Whitworth loved riding his great grandchildren around on the golf cart. He was always kind, giving, and wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Glenna Deuel Whitworth; his son, Jeff Whitworth (Adriane); three daughters, Lori Swift (Sandy), Jan Blackwood (David), and Kim Price (Kevin); two sisters, Dorthy Hassell (J. B.) and Meg Welch; thirteen grandchildren, David C. Blackwood, Jennifer Knop, Derek Blackwood, Lindsey Daffin, Daniel Whitworth, Natalie Price, Nicole Scharman, Ian Price, Adam Whitworth, Laura Day, Kyle Whitworth, Austin Hill, and Lillian Neves; and seventeen great grandchildren.
