Ms. Wheeler passed away Saturday morning in Alabama. She was retired child care worker for Madison County AL. School system. Ms. Wheeler was born January 9, 1928 in Henderson County to the late F. Lindsey and Willie Mae Gilliam Lindsey. She was preceded in death by husband- Sammy Wheeler, 4 brothers- Paul Lindsey, Jimmy Lindsey, Logan Lindsey and Bobby Lindsey, 4 sisters- Louise Bowman, Gracie Middleton, Sue Lindsey and Jo Cagle and one grandson- Logan Duke; Survivors include one daughter- Yolanda Duke (Kevin), one sister- Shirley Jordan, three grandchildren- Justin Duke (Kendall), Katelyn Duke and Olivia Duke.
