Mr. Bobby C. Wilson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Bobby C. Wilson, 76, of Beech Bluff passed away in his home Sunday July 24th, 2022 surrounded by family. He was born August 10, 1945 in Henderson County. He is a member of Independence Church of Christ. Bobby, also known as Papaw, enjoyed spending all of his time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bobby will be greatly missed but his family is comforted knowing he is no longer in pain and waiting in a better place until we meet again. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Linda Gurley Wilson; his sons Rodney Wilson (Stacye) and Brandon Wilson (Haidy and son/grandson Lincoln Wilson); grandchildren Paige Harden (Joseph and daughter Joanna Harden), Brooke Wilson, and Katie Tedford (Seth Thomas); Eight great-grandchildren; and his sisters Robbie Hughes of Tuscaloosa, Edna Maxwell of Parsons, and Barbara Canady of St. Augustine. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Rena Wilson, his sisters Betty Jo Jowers, Jane Frasco, and Diane Melton, and his brothers James Wilson and Neil Wilson. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington with Brother Gary Puryear officiating. Interment will follow in Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 3-9 PM.. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
