Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Matejka, age 73, are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Mrs. Matejka passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her home in Adamsville. She was born February 1, 1947 in Lawton, TN to the late Warner D. and Francies L Miller Moore. She worked in housekeeping at Tri-County Nursing Home in Adamsville and Hardin Home in Savannah. She was a member of Adamsville Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Gary Dewayne Matejka; her brother, Charles Moore; and two sisters, Dorothy Cagle and Verble Scott. Survivors include her three sons, Gary Matejka (Gloria) of Adamsville, Coleman Black (and the late Monda Allen) of Huntsville, AL, and Rocky Black of Selmer; her brother, Ray Moore of Lexington; three sisters, Bertha Cagle of Lexington, Jean Moore of Stantonville, and Christeen Hinson of Carlisle, IL; and one grandson, Ashton Matejka. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 AM – 2 PM.
