Mrs. Annie Lou Stone

April 18, 1943 - November 5, 2021

Annie Lou Stone, 78, passed away late Friday in Lexington. Mrs. Stone was born April 18, 1943, in Henderson County, to the late Arvin Craig and Mattie Wuorrell Craig. She was the widow of Billy James Stone, and was a retired former Johnson Controls employee. She is survived by two sons, Michael James Stone and Mark Alan Stone; Two grandchildren, Alan Ray Stone and Sierra Atlanta Stone Studards (Wesley); five great grandchildren: Austin Stone, Audrey Stone, Trenton Studards, Karaline Studards, Isabella Greene; one sister, Margaret Middleton. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by three brothers: Alvin Craig, Luther Craig, and Leonard Craig; and a sister, Geneva Hatley. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 9, at 1:00 p.m., at Stone Hill Pentecostal Church in Reagan, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 until 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30. All visitation will be at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington.
