Mrs. Alene Hart

Funeral services for Mrs. Alene Hart, age 90, are scheduled for 3 PM, Saturday, August 14, 2021, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Mrs. Hart passed away early Thursday in Lexington. She was born November 10, 1930, in Decatur County to the late Grady and Willie Heath Creasy. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, an excellent cook and enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Gordon Hart, and two brothers, James Creasy and Raymond Creasy. Survivors include her two sons: Michael Hart (Brenda) and Tim Hart (Kay); her daughter, Joan Hughes (Farrow); three brothers, Ovid Creasy, George Creasy (Barbara), and J W Creasy (Gayle); her sister, Wilma Hudson (Larry); four grandchildren, Misty Hart, Ashley Garrett (Kevin), Grant Hart (Rebecca), and Brittany Hart; one great grandson, Henry Hart; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday 4-9 PM and on Saturday 10 AM – 3 PM. All visitors are encouraged to wear a mask and the family requests no food to be brought into the funeral home.
