Betty Carol Leach Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Betty Carol Leach of Oakdale, CT passed away peacefully at her home at 78 Glendale rd, Oakdale, CT on October 11, 2002 at the age of 53, surrounded by her family and close friends. She was born Betty Carol Montgomery on October 20, 1949 in Millington, TN. She was the daughter of Paris "Pat" Medbery and the late William Montgomery. She grew up in Colchester, CT and is a graduate of Bacon Academy. She married Richard W. Leach on June 22, 1968 and moved to Oakdale, CT. She worked many years at Colchester Convalescent Home. She was a kind and generous woman, who devoted her life to her family and close friends. She is survived by her husband, Richard, her daughter, Carrie-Ann Kaylor and husband Jeff of Groton, CT, her daughter, Cynthia Moore and husband, Leon of Oakdale, CT, her son James Leach and girlfriend Elizabeth Deleon of Norwich, CT, and foster child Patrick Corbell of Oakdale, CT. She also leaves five grandchildren, Jourdan, Andrew, Kelsey, Lucas, and Landon. Also, her mother Pat Medbery and stepfather Alva Medbery, SR. of New London, CT, her brother, Alva Medbery, JR and Penny of Las Vegas, NV, sister, Phyllis O'Brien and David of Goffstown, NH, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 3:00pm, October 19, 2002 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
