Funeral services for Jimmy Thomas Elvington, age 68, will be held at 1:00 PM Monday,July 26 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home at Scotts Hill with Bro. Randall Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Scotts Hill Pentecostal Cemetery.
Mr. Elvington, the son of the late Troy Hardin and Leatha Pearl Powers Elvington, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Parsons. He is survived by two step daughters: Barbara Rushing and Marsha Duke both of Reagan; a step-son, Mike Goff of Scotts Hill; three sisters: Linda Bailey of Reagan, Brenda Mooney of Sardis and Pearlie Elvington of Sardis; two brothers: Raymond Elmo Elvington and Troy Hardin Elvington Jr. both of Lexington. Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Neva Elvington, and two brothers: Thomas Ray and Coy Lee Elvington.
