Funeral services for Mr. Hershel Middleton, age 81, are scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Center Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Franklin Watkins and Bro. Charlie Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Middleton passed away Sunday in Jackson. He was born February 27, 1929 in Reagan, TN to the late Wylie and Missie Pruitt Middleton. He retired after 42 years of service with Henderson County, 20 of the years he served as County Road Supervisor. Mr. Middleton is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Beatrice Middleton of Reagan, two sons, Bruce Middleton of Nashville and Terry (Kathy) Middleton of Memphis, one daughter, Carolyn (John) Smith of Lexington, two brothers, Gene Middleton of Reagan and DeWayne Middleton of Tenn Ridge, TN, one sister, Bernice Caine of Grand Junction, CO, two grandchildren, Tish Middleton and Eric (Denise) Smith, and one great grandchild, Corynn Smith.
