Funeral services for Mrs. Jewell Mae Carey Hill, age 75, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Dr. Hoyt Wilson and Rev. William Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Darden Cemetery. Mrs. Hill passed away Sunday in Lexington. She was born November 24, 1934 in Henderson County to the late Dayton Monroe and Ruby Duke Carey. She was a retired employee of Stewarts Drug Store and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Kim Sandifer (Robbie) of Hendersonville, a brother, Mickey Carey of Perryville, a sister, Regina Carey of Lexington, a brother-in-law, Robert Hill, and two grandchildren, Jesse Hill and Talley Robertson.
