Funeral services for Mr. James “Speck” Lockhart, age 79, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, June 4, 2010 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. David Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Lockhart passed away early Thursday at his home. He was born March 28, 1931 in Henderson County to the late James Benton and Ruby Elizabeth Dennison Lockhart. He was a retired truck driver for the Henderson County Highway Dept. and a member of Union Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Kimberly Gwen McCollum. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Hazel Lockhart of Lexington, four daughters, Lella Gordon of Decaturville, Reba Young of Parsons, Gail Davis (Danny) and Debra Magers (Mike) of Lexington, one sister, Eva Brewer of Paris, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
