A celebration of the life of Mrs. Evie Bledsoe Little, age 85, is scheduled for 4:00 PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Fate Britt and Jack McAdams officiating. Burial will follow in Caraway Cemetery. Mrs. Little passed away Monday in Jackson. She was born July 3, 1924 in Henderson County to the late Willie and Sally Doyle Bledsoe. She was a retired employee of Salant & Salant and loved gardening and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Hulon Alton Little, two sisters, Lounell Hamm and Raymell Little. Survivors include her three daughters, Shirley Beecham, Carol (Noble) Duke, and Linda (Billy Joe) Hays, three sisters, Zula Blankenship, Ruth Little, and Wilma McPeake, all of Lexington, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
