Funeral services for James Stanley Gooch, 61, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 26, at the Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Halters and Rev. Harold Hopper officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery.
Mr. Gooch, the son of the late Jack and Addie Mae Taylor Gooch, died Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Jackson. He was a member of the Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church and a retired employee of Magnetek.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Gooch, his two daughters: Mechelle Gooch Ruano and Vanessa Wilson and a son, Mark Gooch all of Yuma; three grandchildren: Michael, Derrick and Cherish; a sister, Mary Frances Gooch Hart of Yuma, two brothers: Clevie Gooch of Jackson and Paul Gooch of Lexington.
