Graveside services for Mrs. Glenda Barger Duck will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 27, at Lexington Cemetery with Rev. Bob Keen officiating.
Glenda died Thursday, April 22, 2010, after a long illness. She was born in Madison County, the daughter of the late Farrice and Lorene “Poca” Barger. She was a graduate of North Side High School in Jackson, where she was an outstanding basketball player, winning an All-State award during her senior year. She worked many years as a successful insurance agent in West Tennessee.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Bruce Duck of Reagan whom she married twenty-six years ago on April 17, 1984; a daughter, Deborah Key and her daughter Sarah Key and a son, Clark Key all of Jackson. She is also survived by her two brothers: Ron and wife Karen Barger of Jackson and Eric and wife Mary Barger of Knoxville.
Pallbearers will be Howard Hays, Alton Maness, Gerald McClure, Joe Morris, Kerry Hopper and Curtis Hopper. The Duck family will receive friends at Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington from 12:00 PM until service time on Tuesday.
