Funeral services for Gilbert Marshall, age 86, are scheduled for 4;00 pm on Sunday, March 21, 2010 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill, Tn. with Rev.Billy Allegood officiating. Burial will follow in the Peace Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Marshall passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 in Parsons, Tn. He was born September 17, 1923 in Springfield, Tn. to the late Gilbert Sr. and Clara Marshall. He was a retired truck driver.
Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Sr.and Clara Marshall, two brothers, Howard and William Marshall, two sisters-Elizabeth Hill and Jean Moore, and one grandchild.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie Sue Marshall of Decaturville, Tn., Three step-sons, Timmy Wallace of Linden, Tn. Danny Wallace of Linden, Tn. and Billy Wallace of Scotts Hill, Tn. one step-daughter, Betty Sue Lewis of Hampton, Tn., one brother, James Marshall of Nashville, Tn. ,one sister Ora Hall of Nashville, Tn. 5 step grandchildren and 3 step great grand children.
