Funeral services for Mrs. Lois McPeake, age 94, will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, February 22 at the Stringtown Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bryan Hopper, Bro. Jimmy Burroughs and Rev. Vaughn Hamm officiating. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. McPeake, the daughter of the late Oscar L. and Emma Millner Goff, died Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Lexington. She was a homemaker and member of the Stringtown Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her two daughters: Kay Hopper (Scottie) and Shirley Roberts (Bobby) both of Lexington; a son, Larry Joe McPeake (Debbie) of Mifflin; four grandchildren: Bryan Hopper (Dana), Larry Joe McPeake, Tim Roberts (Anna), Jennifer Burnine (Brent); 6 great grandchildren: Hannah Roberts, Amanda Stanfill (Jessie), Caylee Burnine, Meagan McPeake, Dimitri McPeake and Colton McPeake and 1 great great grandchild, Abigale Stanfill. Mrs. McPeake was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse McPeake; a brother, Mack Goff; a sister, Velma Creasy and a grandson, Eric Dale Hopper.
